Joshua went back to his home gathered his supplies, went and searched for a sparring partner. Hours passed by and still no partner so he trained by destroying entire boulders and creating large tornadoes. His BeyPower grew immensely that he now could be able to spin for almost a day even with an RF tip. He said "I'm gonna sleep now and find a sparring partner tomorrow!"

"SHOOT!!!!" Sean launches his beyblade with full power. "GO HYDRA!!!" shouted Sean. Hydra is stirring and starts to close in. "Hydra wait." Hydra stops and waits for a command. "Let's have him attack first. Just to be fair. But circle his beyblade at full speed while waiting." Hydra circles the stranger's beyblade. "Attack me with all your might." Hydra is circling the stranger's beyblade, waiting for it to attack.

Hydra and Liger collide, when the dust cleared Hydra didn't budge a centimeter. "Is that all you have?" asked Sean, "'Cause that's not gonna stop me. GO HYDRA!!!" Hydra charges at full speed, speed that makes light look like a turtle." "Now witness my Hydra's power." Hydra starts to burn. After a few seconds, Hydra is completely covered in flames, Hydra charges at Liger with full speed and power, not wanting to make mistakes.

Liger split into many wind clones and dodged Hydra's strike but still he got hurt a bit because of the speed and flames of hydra but did little damage. "Hehehe I still got tricks up my sleeve" Joshua said.

"You can't escape." 5 seconds 'til Hydra collides, Liger is surrounded by the Hydras. "Let's see you react to this." Hydra is about 1 second before it collides with Liger.

"Heh, Hydra, ATOMIC WAVE." Hydra collects all the atoms of the sand and turns them into solid waves of pure destruction. "You didn't expect this didn't ya?" The waves are about to collide with Liger. "MEET YOUR DOOM!!!" Hydra charges, and is about to collide with its special move, with Liger and its special move .

"Oh no this thing is going to hit me soon I have to do something about this! LIGER! make some of the sand one again to make a shield and use the remaining to slow down and attack Hydra!" Joshua said. "Liger has some Earth attributes Sean and where there is earth Liger can make more sand!" Liger increases the amount of sand while the sand that was already separated clumped together. Liger has used the winds around him to create the ultimate attack-defense maneuver.

Breaking any sand barrier created before him. Hydra is now charging at a snake-like pattern. "Destroy that barrier now!!!" Shouted Sean, Hydra starts to increase speed and stirs to hit Liger with no mistakes.

"Liger there's no other choice!" Joshua said. Joshua remembers all the times he trained. Through the logs on the river, by cutting down trees, by catching fruits, by training in his dad's machine everyday of his mountain life. The time when there was no bridge to the other side of the mountain, Liger and Joshua gathered their strength and whipped up a whirlwind strong enough to thrust them to the other side of the mountain. He also remembered the time when his father and mother had a fire, Joshua and his bro combined their strengths to extinguish the fire, this was also the time Joshua learned to use earth as an attribute. He remembers the time he and his brother first completed their own special moves which helped them drive wild animals from their home. All these times they spent on the mountains has given them the power to adapt to most circumstances. Liger then musters up his strength and breaks the ground to form boulders that he uses to maneuver behind Hydra. " Liger is using gravity to strengthen his attack Sean, while you can't defy gravity and it will be hard to dodge because of the falling boulders. What will you do next?"

Hydra charges faster and faster it's almost as if light was being dragged along with it. Hydra still charging in a snake-like pattern, hits the boulders but doesn't seem to be affected.

The smoke clears and both beyblades have stopped spinning. "WHAT?! How can this be?! I'm evenly matched with someone!" Sean shouted in disbelief. Sean goes to his beyblade to pick it up but drops it due to it being red-hot. "Agh!! When I see you again things'll be different!!" Sean walks away.

Now Joshua goes back to his mountain house and takes a rest then resumes back to training.
