Thoughts on artists

What are your thoughts on these singers? By the way, you can post here your thoughts about different artists. Your thoughts on Somedaydream?

Well, I can say that they're all just doing what they do best. Being an Indie artist, myself, we all would like to express ourselves in music whether the public likes it or otherwise. What matters is that we enjoy what we are doing. Somedaydream is a welcome addition to OPM, in my book, and Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto is epic ear candy.

For some reason I think SD's one of the people turning OPM into an autotune fest. Gone are the days when you rise through hard work

Not really. He just brings a new wave of music to the OPM scenes. He also makes Acoustic versions of his songs in his live performances.

For my opinion, he's really doing great. Bringing new music to the fading OPM music. Has a bunch of supporting fans. Plus he's the breakout OPM artist too.

Um, What about Marie Digby and Zia Quizon guys?

And what about Justin Bieber guys?

He didn't fix the OPM scene. New artists just screwed it up more. I mean , is it talent to autotune yourself? So it means we should patronize those with less talent? I don't think so. It's not in the mainstream-ishness , it's how it will be remembered. Would anyone remember the artists of now 25 years later? I don't think so.

Oh please, just because your: Rich, Smart, and Atenean doesn’t mean you have to hate everyone because of their likes. I can be one of your victims, the reason would be me being a fan of Bieb. You don’t really appreciate the way how people live with music and stuff. Although am a noob, you don’t have to push everyone like you’re the best. That’s one of the reasons why I actually hated BBPH. To stop this “fight”, I’ll just accept your hatred with my faves.

Yes, I appreciate music. But, that, my good sir, is not music. It's a computer singing in disguise as some teenager heartrob. Is it THAT evil to hate Justin Gayber? No! More than half of the internet hates him! And SD is a poor Owl City rip-off by the way. I heard that SD was a good bass (or guitar?) player before. As my Guitar Club moderator said : "What the hell did he eat to switch to techno?"
